Virtual reality is a simulation of a real or fantastic situation with which the subject can interact, sometimes by means of unconventional, extremely sophisticated interfaces, such as viewers within which the scene is represented and the sounds are reproduced to immerse the user in the virtual world. Similar techniques are used, in video games, in the military training of pilots and in the modeling of microscopic systems, e.g. in the study of the properties of biomolecules.

Esports, also known as competitive gaming, is a form of organized electronic competition that takes place through and thanks to video games. The prefix “e” stands for “electronic” and underlines the digital character of this new phenomenon. Esports involves professional, semi-professional or amateur gamers who compete, as individuals or as part of a team.

Esports in VR are the bridge between esports and traditional sports. For example, the ability to experience realistic images and interact with teammates at a level of immersion that adds further levels of complexity never seen before thanks to the use of virtual reality technology that catapults participants into an unprecedented sports simulation. These factors offer completely new experiences for both players and spectators who can enjoy a show as close as possible to traditional sports, but with rules and physical laws that have our imagination as their only limit.

Introduction

The organization aims to ignite the flame of competition as a stimulus through virtual reality, making physical activity more accessible to all people who want to participate, such as occasional and professionals athletes, fans, coaches, sponsors and all those figures that revolve around the world of the sport as we know it. Is this a mere imitation of traditional sports? Absolutely no. Our goal is to combine the healty principles of the Sport with the infinite possibilities that progress can offer us.

Mission

The VRLI deals with organizing and managing competitive events in virtual reality and similar:

  • drafting regulations and making sure that these are respected during the course of the competition
    constituting prizes for the athletes who win competitions and organizing the respective awards
  • By broadcasting the competitions live to allow all spectators, fans and third parties to enjoy the sporting spectacle
  • By making agreements with manufacturers of electronic sports in virtual reality and with companies that revolve around sports in virtual reality to ensure the best possible quality of the competition and in such a way that active participants are adequately rewarded for their efforts
  • Organizing live events to allow all participants in the circuit to deepen their bonds and create a healthy and strong social network
  • It also deals with training on virtual reality and the metaverse to raise awareness of new technologies

Athletes and Active Participants:

VRLI offers organization, management and broadcasting services for competitive events related to the game produced, also through the exposure that its channels can exploit.

The project is young and innovative and is growing fast along with the exposure it can generate.
Through a sponsorship, the VRLI can provide more direct access to its community, including through IRL events in which people can touch and use the products and services with their own hands.
Being a leader in the field of Virtual Reality competition, it is seen as a reference point for the quality of its services and the products it suggests, characteristics that no other organization in the field can boast in Italy.

The community is comparable to the lifeblood of our project and as such corresponds to the beating heart of the competition and organization. An active and creative community that lives in compliance with the rules of good civic conduct, which actively participates in the project with its emotionality and creativity are the characteristics that make us proud to be part of it personally. It is for these reasons that we consider our community as a precious asset to cultivate, to allow those approaching for the first time to find a welcoming and stimulating environment, but also to defend because not everyone is always able to act in respect of others. and it is precisely to avoid the spread of what is now commonly called “toxicity” that compliance with the rules of good conduct is taken very seriously by the organization and by the community itself.

The connections that are created through our network are a resource for us. nowadays, being connected with different cultures, organizations, institutions, professionals, friends is of vital importance for one’s personal fulfillment and expression. Creating a network made up of continuous exchanges on different levels that can give those who want more opportunities and opportunities to pursue their dreams is a goal that we will continue to pursue and defend.

The competition has always been the fuel that has pushed VRLI and its participants to believe in the project and to continue to desire its growth and success. Competition should not be seen as a stimulus for an end in itself but as a fundamental part of the path of personal and professional growth. If treated with care and in an appropriate environment this can be the right motivational push to reach one’s goals and try to surpass oneself to aspire to ever higher goals.

It is by no means a secret that the skills acquired in the sports field can be effectively transferred to other cultural contexts from earliest childhood, and it is also for this reason that it has always been a reality in schools. Sport and play are made up of what we can define as the founding principles of any healthy society. We talk about spreading the values ​​of solidarity, loyalty, respect for the person and rules. These are tools that form the basis for building transferable skills in other life contexts that each individual will become a part of. The organization of a competition, the definition of roles, the determination of times, game strategies, are real intellectual skills that can be transferred to any work context and represent skills that everyone should be able to put into practice when they have to take decisions or prepare an action program. Sport as a value and gaming as a vehicle form a winning couple where you can grow through opportunities that favor creativity and emotional investment, supporting the processes that lead to autonomy, the growth of self-esteem, the capacity for initiative and self-awareness on various levels, physical and emotional.

We firmly believe that technological progress is a fundamental part of the future of society. More and more innovations are changing the way we live and relate to other people and institutions and this can sometimes scare us. However, we are confident and enthusiastic about the positive aspects and opportunities that technological progress can give us because through the correct use of this technology we can break down those walls that distance, physical, emotional and mental conditions are placed in front of us every day. We are also convinced that creativity is a resource and a fundamental quality of every individual and we believe that having access to “limitless” technology can be the right tool to give concreteness and solidity to our dreams of achieving an increasingly inclusive type of sport.
